Wearing a pair of shorts with knee warmers does give the same appearance as wearing a pair of knickers. Nobody is going to argue that. But when temperatures start to dip into the upper 40s and lower 50s would you wearing shorts with knee warmers offer the same warmth a pair of knickers? My answer: No. And here’s why.
